About

I am creative to my core. Whether it’s designing a personal identity or a product experience. I love a good problem to solve and this passion started with art at a young age.

As a youngster, I would go to the local library and checkout cartoon books and try to draw exactly what I saw in the book. As the years passed I got better, and moved from simple cartoons such as Donald Duck to more complex DragonBall Z characters. This earned me title of 'artist' in elementary, middle, and high school. I became the go-to artist for school projects and it is what made me happy. It came natural.

That is why even today I start with drawing for projects. It is a combination of notes and sketches, but it is what gets me on the right foot for a project.

Sketch First

My process always starts with in my Field Notes. Jotting down ideas, sketches, deadlines, wireframes, notes, and possibly your next logo! The good, bad, and downright debatable are thrown down in an effort to exhaust my creative flow.

Digitize

When it reaches that point of exhaustion, I turn to the computer to digitize those ideas, screens, marks. That’s where my handy dandy Logitech mouse comes into play. He’s been my digital design sidekick from day 1. We’re in it for the long haul.

Today, my work focuses on branding for sports and small business. Thanks for taking the time to hear my story and see my work.
