Athlete Logos

JF1_Branding_Athlogos.jpg

I took inspiration from popular athlete logos and Justin’s background to set my foundation. Popular characteristics from these logos are mostly simple, black, interlocking, and contain the athlete’s number to name a few.

Atlanta Police Dept.

Justin’s father was a police officer in Atlanta Georgia, and this had a major influence on his upbringing. It taught him discipline, humility, and to keep your cool in any situation.

Sketch Book

While listening to content about Justin Fields I took notes of what was said, what I took away, and references to lean on. This research jumpstarted early sketches and it went from there.

Concept Selection & Refinement

The concept I chose to pursue was “badge”. Using the badge silhouette I was able to carve a unique, simple, and memorable mark.
